Toulon harbour
Toulon is the administrative centre of the Var department is the third biggest city of the Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur region. Its harbour is commensurate to its importance, and has a large naval base, a commercial port and a harbour for amateur yachtsmen. Toulon harbour is involved in a Clean Ports initiative, in order to improve and preserve the environment.
This is a well-downwing harbour, which has the advantage of a being near the town beaches. And berths give onto the town centre. Amateur yachtsmen have therefore access to all the activities, entertainments, and businesses of a big city. This marina has a total of 1,259 for its three basins.
The Darse Vieille basin is the largest of them. It has a depth of 6 to 8 metres and 615 available berths, with 130 berths meant for visitors, and 8 for large boats measuring up to 55 metres. The Darse Nord du Mourillon has a capacity of 367 berths, 150 of which are for passing through boats. Finally, Saint-Louis du Mourillon can welcome 263 boats, and 69 of its berths are reserved for visitors.
Toulon harbour has infrastructures and equipement which are modern and adapted to its area and to the richness of its harbour activity. Amateur yachtsmen have access to fresh water, electricity, a refuelling station, bathrooms (toilets and showers), Wi-Fi, a dry dock, a clean area, a waste-oil sump and a waste-water container, a hoist, a 35 metric ton travelift, and a victualling station, amongst other things.
