Saint Cyprien - Saint Cyprien Description :

Saint-Cyprien harbour

Saint-Cyprien is an excellence harbour, that was awarded by the European Blue Flag in 1991. This harbour ranks 2nd among the largest harbours of the Mediterranean Sea, and it is the 3rd marina at the European scale. This port of call is ideally located, 7 miles away from the nature reserve of Banyuls, and not far away from the splendid creeks of the Costa Brava. Saint-Cyprien is a perfect departure to sail between the French and the Spanish coasts.

This is a very large-scale harbour, that can welcome 2,200 boats, measuring less than 20 metres. The depth of the outer jetties is 5 metres, and 4 metres in the outer harbour. The basins have an up to 3.5 metre draught. The outer harbour gives access to 2 mooring basins, and a maintenance basin, with a total area of 15 hectares. Boats can moor at floating pontoons and buoys. In order to allow more boats in during the season, amateur yachtsmen have access to the 600 berths of Capellans harbour. This harbour has a 2 metre deep draught, and can be accessed from Saint-Cyprien harbour, through a swing bridge.

The services provided in this harbour include freshwater, electricity (220 V/10 A), bathrooms (24 showers, and 16 toilets), a Wi-Fi access, a private launderette, two 45 metric ton travelifts, two boat slips, 7 ships, waste-oil sumps, a waste water pump, and a refuelling station in the harbour master's office. An afloat watching service secures the harbour area.

Saint-Cyprien harbour is a lovely port of call, perfect for discovery, and livened up by many events related to the sea.
