Port de Sant Ambroggio - Lumio

Port de Sant Ambroggio - Lumio Description :

Sant'Ambroggio harbour

Sant'Ambroggio is a lovely and private marina, well-sheltered from strong winds, between Calvi and l'Île Rousse, in Corsica. It belongs to the town hall of Lumio, and is managed by the Yachting Club de Sant’Ambroggio company. The harbour area is a dynamic and appealing hub, which combines sports activities and beach pleasures. The presence of many shops makes it easy for passing through amateur yachtsmen to get supplies. Bars and restaurants allow them to have an entertaining call.

Sant'Ambroggio harbour has 220 berths, 20 of which are reserved to passing through boats. The draught is up to 2.5 metres, and boats can moor at anchor blocks and anchor gears. Mooring in the harbour is forbidden. This harbour also offers the opportunity to winter out of season. Modern developments as well as works to upgrade the harbour to standards are in progress.

Amateur yachtsmen have access to standard services, such as freshwater, at dock (220 V/30 A) and at pontoon (220 V) electricity, pay phones, bathrooms, and a launderette with a clothes dryer. More specific services also are at their disposal. They include a 100 metric ton crane, a boat slip, a ship chandler and a refuelling station at the basin entrance. A watching service ensures the safety of people and property, both afloat and in the sheds. Additional advantages liven up the harbour, such as the electric car which is at amateur yachtsmen’ disposal, a boat rental centre, and a diving centre. The marina of Sant'Ambroggio is an ideal port of call, near Calvi and l’Île Rousse harbours.
