Marseillan-Plage - Marseillan Plage

Marseillan-Plage - Marseillan Plage Description :

harbour of Marseillan Plage

Marseillan-Plage is a lovely and welcoming little harbour, with which many amateur yachtsmen fell in love. This harbour area is surrounded by ponds, in which an exceptional fauna and flora develop, and offers an exquisite view. The marina is ideally located to discover the region and its surroundings by boat: between Sète and harbours such as Cap d'Agde, Frontignan and Palavas Les Flots.

The harbour of Marseillan-Plage has 200 berths, about a tenth of which are reserved to passing through boats that are less than 12 metre long. Many berths are therefore still available for purchase. Boats can moor all year long at dock and at floating pontoons. The outer-harbour and the channel are 2 metre deep, with the channel sanding up during winter. The basin is 2.50 metre deep.

The services that are at amateur yachtsmen disposal are freshwater, electricity (220 V), bathrooms, a pay phone, a launderette, waste-oil sumps, and a 5 metric ton crane. During the season, this harbour enjoys a surveillance camera and an afloat watching service to ensure the safety of amateur yachtsmen and of their equipment. Fuel pumps are 800 metres away from the harbour, on the Pisse-Saumes channel.

Amateur yachtsmen can get fresh supplies, have a nice time, and enjoy local produce thanks to the large number of shops, bars, and restaurants. Marseillan-Plage is nested between the sea, vineyards, and fine-sandy beaches that extend on several kilometres. It is a perfect port of call for all of the amateur yachtsmen who wish to taste oisters from the basin of Thau, and therefore enjoy an unavoidable salty flavour in the region.
