Fontvieille - MONACO

Fontvieille - MONACO Description :

Fontvieille harbour

The marina of Fontvieille is a haven of peace sheltered from winds and the swell, as a precious peal sheltered by the Rock of Monaco. This marina was built in the late 70s on a former Monaco district, and breathes life into a young and modern spirit in the harbour area. Many restaurants, boutiques and fun and sports activities liven up the surrounding district all year long, much to the delight of amateur yachtsmen.

This harbour has 275 berths, 16 of which are meant for visitors. The draught is 3 metres maximum. Boats can moor at 3 concrete docks and 4 floating landing stages. You are advised to book your berth in advance with the harbour master's office, especially during high season. In the event of a full harbour, passing through amateur yachtsmen can still call in at Hercule harbour, a large-scale harbour adjoining Monaco and that can welcome 700 boats.

At dock services are reserved to permanent amateur yachtsmen, such as passing through crews. This harbour provides many practical services, such as an access to freshwater, at ock and at pontoon electricity (220V / 380V), bathrooms, pay phones with the possibility to make a call onboard on request, an internet access, TV, and a launderette in town. More technical equipment is also available, such as waste-oil sumps and battery containers, black water pumping, and a refuelling station in Hercule harbour, which joins onto Fontvieille harbour.
