Cassis - Cassis Description :

Cassis harbour

Cassis harbour, a pearl of the region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, is nested in majestic cliffs and rocky inlets. There, you can enjoy the Cassis nectar, a fresh wine that made the town famous, on a coffee pavement area or comfortably sitted on the deck of your boat. This harbour area is dynamic, and in 2014, many projects are in progress to improve the reception quality. The two main projects are dredging, and obtaining the Clean Ports label.

Cassis harbour has 400 berths, and 100 additional berths to welcome the many amateur yachtsmen who come during the high season. Boat length is from 4 to 25 metres, and there is a 4 metre depth in the outer-harbour. The basins depth is 3.5 metres, and 1.7 metres in the Quai Carnot. Boats can moor at anchor gears, chains, and floating pontoons during the high season.

This harbour services include freshwater, electricity, bathrooms, telephone, Wi-Fi, waste selective sorting, and waste-oil collection. You can also have access to more technical equipment, such as a grey and black water pump, a 6 metric ton crane, a 25 metric ton dry dock, a refuelling station on the starborside upon arrival, which is open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. during season, and from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. out of season.

Reception is very important in Cassis harbour! A trilingual team facilitates the arrival and the paperwork of amateur yachtsmen. Sailors can also meet in the "Yacht Club" Club House to share their sea experiences. Cassis harbour is a central port of call, near Marseille, la Ciotat, and Bandol harbours, among others.
