Cap d´Agde - Agde

Cap d´Agde - Agde Description :

Cap d’Agde harbour

Cap d’Agde harbour is at the heart of a resort, on the seaside of the Mediterranean Sea. It is sheltered by the mountain of Saint-Martin and at the foot of the former volcano of Mont Saint-Loup. This harbor area has modern and secure structures, and is composed of several basins that stretch on 35 hectares. There are 3,300 rings meant for welcoming pleasure boats. Its maritime location, close to Spain and between Sète harbour to the East and Sérignan harbour to the West, appeals to many amateur yachtsmen.

The 3,300 rings of this harbour, 30 of which are meant for passing through visitors, can welcome boats that are less than 25 metre long. They can moor at pontoons with catways, or at buoys, on dredged basins that are 3 metre deep. This harbor has specific berths for multihulls. Newcomers should report to the harbour master’s office in order to be assigned to a berth.

The services include freshwater, at dock electricity (220 V/10-32 A), bathrooms (accessible thanks to an electronic key), pay phones, 2 travelifts (of 13 and 50 metric tons), a 1 metric ton crane, 3 boat slips, waste oil sumps, a waste collection centre in keeping with European standards, and a parking reserved to amateur yachtsmen. They can refuel passing through the 1st basin at the harbor entrance, near the harbor master’s office in the outer-harbour.

This harbour area is equipped with a technical area that is reserved to renovation works and boat maintenance, with a park for long-term repairs.
