Bonifacio - Bonifacio Description :

Port de Bonifacio

Bonifacio harbour is well-downwind thanks to majestic limestone cliffs. It is also an outstanding place, and an unmissable point-of-call in the Corse-du-Sud department. It is the Mediterranean harbour that French amateur yachtsmen visit the most. There, sailing boats, traditional boats and magnificent yachts are alongside. The harbour has modern structures, which fall within a quality initiave, labelled Clean and Welcoming Ports.

This marina and fishing harbour is accessible day and night 24/7. This harbour regulations are strict about the preservation of the environment and about the preservation of the place. At the marina entrance, amateur yachtsmen are reminded of standard rules, such as not jettisoning anything and saving water. Adapted equipment was also installed, such as a waste-oil sump and plastic and selective sorting containers.

At a 2 M distance from Pertusato Cape, Bonifacio harbour has 350 berths, 170 of which are meant for passing through visitors, such as fresh water, at dock and at pontoon electricity, Wi-Fi, bathrooms, premises for handicapped people, and a launderette. More technical equipment is also integrated,  such as a fuel access, a 17 metric ton crane, 2 ships and a tow boat. Videosurveillance and a watchman patrol ensure the safety of people and property.
